"I want to text them"
An emergency button for when the urge to text your ex takes over. It walks you through it, step by step, until the wave passes. Free forever.
An app for breakups, divorce and grief
Soltar keeps you company while you get through a breakup, a divorce, the death of someone you love (any bond, pets included) or anticipatory grief, when someone you love is very ill. One day at a time, with concrete exercises, guided meditations and someone to talk to.

The app interface is available in English; most audio and guided content is in Spanish for now. Soltar was born in Argentina, and we are translating the rest step by step.
What's included
Soltar is for adults (18+) going through a loss. It gives you small, concrete things to do when it hurts most.
An emergency button for when the urge to text your ex takes over. It walks you through it, step by step, until the wave passes. Free forever.
A short path of three to five minutes, based on what is happening and how intense it feels. You rate the intensity before and after.
See how much the distress came down each time you paused and took care of yourself.
A one-minute night ritual to leave the day behind before you sleep.
Something small and doable for today, so you can keep moving without pressure.
One reading and one exercise a day, unlocked one at a time, because grief can't be rushed.
For anxiety, sleepless nights, anger or loneliness, plus sounds with a sleep timer.
An AI companion that listens at any hour, without judging you. It is not a person or a professional, and it says so.
Helplines by country and a step-by-step safety plan. These are always free.
Your companion
Brotecito is a little sprout that keeps you company in the app. It doesn't grow because you "behave": it grows when you do something for yourself, like breathing, writing or riding out a wave without texting them.
Brotecito never wilts. On a bad day, it doesn't hand your sadness back to you; it gives you a hug. It can also live on your home screen as a widget. And if you'd rather use the app without a character, you can turn it off.

Privacy
When you're struggling, the last thing you need is to wonder who reads what you write. That's why Soltar is built to keep as little as possible.
Your journal, check-ins, letters, safety plan and questionnaires live only on your device. We have no access to them.
Messages go through our server so the AI can reply, but their content is not stored or used to train models.
So nobody can open your journal if they pick up your phone. Notifications use discreet wording.
We measure which features are used, never what you write. No ads, and we never sell data.
More details in the privacy policy.
Free and Pro
Soltar is free to download and use for as long as you need. The emergency button, helplines and safety plan are free forever.
Soltar Pro is an optional subscription, monthly or every 3 months, with a 3-day free trial. It adds the full library: complete programs, every meditation and sound, and more tools. You'll see the price in your currency in the App Store or Google Play before you confirm, and you can cancel anytime from the store.
What Soltar is not
Soltar does not diagnose and does not replace a psychologist, psychiatrist or doctor. If your check-ins show warning signs, such as thoughts of hurting yourself, weeks without sleep or a mood that isn't improving, it tells you clearly and points you to help.
If you are already in therapy, Soltar can be a good companion between sessions.

Soltar is coming soon to iPhone and Android. One day at a time.
